ONLINE SUMMER SCHOOL IS COMING
We are doing something different this summer. Instead of offering our regular small group format we are offering 8 to 12 week online summer school courses. These courses are designed to help you deepen your faith as well as develop your leadership capacity. Courses will include discipleship, freedom, outreach, evangelism and leadership. Each participate will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the course. All courses will be held weekly online via ZOOM. Each subject is being offered twice a week at varying times. There will be a workbook provided.
This course is teaching series with discussion designed to give everyone an encouraging space to talk about who God is and what having a relationship with Jesus means for your life.
This study works in two parts. The first five weeks focus on equipping the group with answers to some of the questions that form the foundation of a vibrant walk with God. The second half builds on those truths to give us direction for moving forward to walk out our purpose as believers. Each week in both sections is built around a 15-18 minute video teaching that sets the group up for a valuable time of discussion.
If you are new to the Christian faith, or just need a Fresh Start in your relationship with God—you are not alone.
The Freedom Course is designed to equip you to live the victorious and abundant life Christ came to give you. It gives a biblical process and principles of you can get victory from yesterday and empower you to teach others how to walk in their deliverance also.
Freedom builds on the foundation of your faith in Christ to help you embrace the truth of God’s Word as it relates to your worldview, your past, your sin, your personal value to God, and your purpose in His Kingdom. This course will help you remove every obstacle to intimacy with God and walk in true freedom.
You are an intercessor. What does that mean? Does it mean you attend a weekly prayer meeting with other Christians and pray through prayer requests around a circle? Or is there more to it than that? In this course we are going to study what it means to be an intercessor. We are going to learn what it means to align ourselves with God’s vision for our church. We will spend some time focusing on and cultivating the most important asset we can acquire as intercessors: the presence of God. We will study prayer formats and outlines that will help us get started in a lifestyle of prayer. We are going to discover the power of the Holy Spirit, the power of the Word, and the power of agreement.
During each week of the study, we will learn how to practically apply the teaching. Our goal is that we never become religious in our methods, but connect with the heart of God.
Jesus gave all believers one of the highest callings: make disciples of all nations. . . (Matt.28.19), but we often find evangelism and discipleship intimidating and discouraging. Thankfully, King Jesus not only gave us this command, but he has also demonstrated the model and instructions concerning how to carry out this great mission.
In his short book, The Master Plan of Evangelism, Robert Coleman has detailed and explained the model of Jesus in making disciples, and thereby giving us an encouraging and straightforward help carrying out disciple-making in the local church.
History shows us that nations rise and fall according to how effective their leaders are. Damazio says, so do churches! Examining what it means to be responsible for a group of "followers," he explains the philosophy, history, qualifications, preparation, and practice of Christian leadership---and equips you to battle the evil forces competing for souls.
