Prayer ministry is very important to the daily spiritual health and long term success of our members, our vision and the community we are called to impact. At Impact Church we offer several on going prayer opportunities. Each serves as a unique shield that is strategic in nature. Together each unique shield creates a very large, powerful an effective way to cover all of our ministry needs in prayer.
DAILY PRAYER SHIELD INTERCESSORS
Prayer Shield is a daily prayer covering for our leadership and teams by lifting them up before God each day, and covering their personal prayer needs. Our prayer shield prays also for government, state and city. Between Sundays, as the Prayer Team, we pray individually for leadership and ministry teams at our campus.
We have prayer every Wednesday Night at 7PM. Everyone is open to attend and there is no sign-up. Prayer last for one hour. We open up with a worship song and someone is designated to share a short message to set the tone for the night and then we are released to pray for various needs and for prayer cards. The last 10 minutes we gather at the altar to close out in prayer together with a prayer leader. You may can't commit to each week but we challenge you to attend at least twice a month and see the difference corporate prayer will make in your life.
SUNDAY SERVICE PRAYER
The Service Prayer Team prays during each of our services for the service itself in our prayer room. We don't pray for any other department, leaders or issues. We are totally focused and united during service from beginning to end. We are following and listening to the pastor’s lead on the screen to keep us in unity with his word and the things to pray for. Our charge is to shout and blow the proverbial trumpet on one accord, at the same time, praying for the walls to come down in the lives of those who must respond to the specific things being talked about in the message or altar call
This prayer time takes place on Sunday mornings during each of our service times. We encourage our guest to come forward and have one of our altar workers to pray for any personal needs they may have. Altar workers must be approved by the senior pastor.
