We are about to embark on a week in which we will display radical love to our community.
Normally we would invite as many people as possible to sign up and serve. However, because of social distancing most of our projects are limited to only a few volunteers. If any volunteers are needed we will make the request via our church communication text so please stay on the look out. We have added a list of projects we will be doing this week. It is because of your generosity that we are able to do this. So thank you.
One way you can make a difference is to start a Random Act of Kindness project with your family or small group.
Need some small groupOutreach ideas during this time of social distancing? Here are a few more ways you or your small group can share "Acts of Kindness" with your family, friends, neighbors and fellow man. Adopt one or more and put your stamp of love on it. Stay tuned for more.
1. “Protective Kit” 😷make special bags and include a face mask (it can be hand made), a pair of plastic gloves and a hand sanitizer. Be creative!! DIY!Then give them to people that you see with out protective gear. When you’re in neighborhood, grocery store, Home Depot, gas station etc.
2. “Blessing in a Bag” 🥕🥦🌽Drop off a bag of groceries or have a bag of groceries delivered to a Senior citizen in your neighborhood, or someone you know who can not get out. You don’t have to come in contact with them. Send a text or a note.
3. “Thankful Circle” 🙌🏽🙏🏽reach out to friends and family via text, email or social media. Encourage everyone to list what they are thankful for and share. Keep the circle going.
